How Can We Help?

Our team of Online Home Consultants is eager to answer your questions about our unique process.

Melissa Lynn Galland

My passion for homebuilding dates back to early childhood when my father and uncle started up a construction company in California. After nearly two decades of marketing experience, I was honored to join the Adair Homes team in 2015. I am proud to promote our message of affordable quality homes so that even more future homeowners can realize their dream. Rooted in the PNW; you are likely to find me hiking, volunteering in my daughter's theater group, or curled up with a good book when I am not when I am not coordinating our advertising efforts or dreaming up creative concepts that might make the customer experience a little more enjoyable.

When it comes time to buy your next home, is it best to opt for new construction or pre-built? Custom, manufactured or “stick-built”? These days, there are so many options available to home buyers, it can be challenging to find the best path.

In our area, buyers’ preferences tend to be fairly evenly split when it comes to newly built versus pre-built homes. Recent research shows that home buyers in the western half of the United States are the most likely to consider purchasing a new home. In fact, 27 percent of all new homes sold in July 2017 were in the West, up from 24 percent a year prior. 5 Crucial Things to Look for When Choosing a Home Warranty

Posted by Melissa Lynn Galland on Jan 4, 2018 8:45:48 AM

Topics: Homebuilding Tips, Financing

A home warranty gives you the peace of mind that if your home has structural issues within a certain period of time, you will be covered financially. A home warranty also typically covers defects in materials and systems for a certain period of time.
