Along the way, you’ll work with a variety of experts who are committed to helping you build your dream home.
Home Ownership Counselor
As your main point of contact through the initial phases of the process, your Home Ownership Counselor’s primary goal is to help you build a home within your budget. They start by working backwards from the total amount you want to spend on the home, land, site development costs, permitting, and other expenses. After determining that your project is feasible, they will work with you to gather bids and estimate all of the costs associated with the project.
Your Home Ownership Counselor also starts the customization process with you. With decades of experience and weekly training to stay current on the latest industry standards, they add value you will appreciate as you make important design decisions. Their advice can potentially save you thousands of dollars and help you prioritize the features you want based on both cost and design consequences.
Loan Officer
If you need financing to build your new home, we’ll connect you with a loan officer at our sister company, Alliance Financial Services. Specializing in construction loans and with access to a broad range of permanent financing solutions, your loan officer will help you select the option that makes the most sense for your financial situation.
Interior Designer
Your Home Ownership Counselor will work closely with you to choose from the design selections that have been sourced by our staff interior designer. Their role is to provide items that have been chosen to add value to your home with enduring style. Our goal is to keep up with the trends while avoiding items that won't help you retain value. We rely on trusted brands such as James Hardie, Shaw Floors, Moen, and Whirlpool to deliver durable yet stylish options.
Drafting and Design Team
Every Adair Homes plan was created by our talented Architectural Drafting and Design team with our SMART design concepts in mind. Through strategic floor plan design and our integrated supply chain, we ensure that each home is well designed, structurally sound, and affordably built. Whether you choose an existing floor plan or decide to build a fully custom home, you will benefit from the expertise of our design team.
PreConstruction Administrator
Shortly after signing the contract, you will meet with the PreConstruction Administrator who will guide you through the rest of the planning and permitting process. They will be available to assist with questions about the jurisdiction and your responsibilities throughout the process. In the first meeting, they will create a schedule based on the projected start date for vertical construction of your home. You can expect regular communication to help you keep the project on track and on budget.
Superintendent
Once the foundation is poured, you will work with one or more Superintendents through the duration of the project. In many cases, you will meet with them on-site before buying land to get an estimate of the site development costs. You can also expect to meet with the superintendent(s) several times throughout the build, including:
- Mid-Point Meeting: We explain the multi-point inspections that ensure that our quality standards are met. We also verify specific selections, paint, flooring breaks, and cabinet layout.
- Pre-Walk Meeting: Nearing the completion of your home, you will meet to identify items that need to be completed prior to your new home orientation.
- Home Orientation Meeting: We deliver the keys and enroll you into your 2-10 Warranty Program. We also provide a complete walkthrough and an instruction packet on how to care for and maintain your home.
