Asking the Questions

We understand that building a home is stressful. It’s not just the enormity of creating a place to live—it’s in the details, too. It’s every single decision that leads to the whole. That’s why we’ve partnered with Avid Reports, a company that helps us track customer satisfaction and remediation. We are committed to excellence in every phase of the project. 

Avid Reports currently sends out seven surveys for Adair: 

1. Prospective Customer

2. Sales & Design

3. Pre Construction

4. Mid-Construction Pulse

5. Move-In

6. Title Closing 

7. Year-End


“Each survey provides data on a different aspect of the process. Some surveys are quite a bit longer than others,” says Wendy Langford, Customer Care Manager at the Corporate Office.

“Our goal is to increase customer satisfaction through each phase of the home building process by utilizing the data provided in the surveys. By sharing their experiences, customers have the opportunity to make a huge impact on how Adair does business.”

When Adair receives the surveys back from customers, the feedback is used to identify areas for improvement. Sometimes our shortcomings are internal, and other times, the surveys allow us to identify products or services that require adjustment. 

“They also allow us to celebrate our wins,” says Wendy. “Hearing from a customer that they loved every step of the process is huge!”

What's in it for You

Outside of helping us create a better system for the next customer, the Avid Surveys might also result in a fun cash prize for those who fill them out! 

Every completed survey is entered into an Avid Reports drawing. Every six months, winners are drawn at random, winning cash prizes from $100-$500.

An Adair customer from the Caldwell branch won $500 in February after submitting a loan survey!

National Award Winning 

Our hope is that by initiating these Avid surveys, Adair Homes will have the opportunity to correct and realign our processes with our values. Exceeding the expectations of our customers is a priority—in customer satisfaction, care, and experience. 

In that same spirit, we decided to apply for the National Home Quality Award. In 2021, we were honored to be one of three builders in the United States to receive a bronze from the NHQA. We will keep asking questions and working to improve our processes as we go for the gold.
