There’s lots to love about the kitchen in our popular Mt. Rainier plan. For many of our customers it represents their dream kitchen. And for good reason. Every inch of our 3,217 square foot Mt. Rainier plan is designed to be luxurious and functional.

Here are just a few of the features that customers love about the Mt. Rainier kitchen:

  • Bright corner sink area
  • Extra large island
  • Butler’s pantry for entertaining
  • Plenty of counter space

But, as with all Adair Homes, the floor plan is just the beginning. The real fun begins at our Design Centers where each customer can create a completely unique look. And it doesn’t have to cost a fortune to create a kitchen that’s truly yours. Sometimes even the smallest customizations can make a big difference.

Just take a look at four different versions of our Mt. Rainier plan and how a few small customizations can completely change the look and use of the space.

Kitchen Design #1

This first version of the Mt. Rainer kitchen features rich, dark cabinets and a light granite countertop. This homeowner chose an elegant, rounded archway that leads into the butler’s pantry. The homeowner used the same rounded archway throughout the home.

In this second version the homeowner also used a darker cabinet selection with a lighter countertop but created some added functionality. They customized their island with a prep sink and reconfigured the layout to better accommodate their lifestyle. They added a second oven which makes entertaining large crowds easier.

In this third version of the Mt. Rainier kitchen the homeowner chose an old world look with lots of custom touches like a tile design behind the stove, glass cabinets, and an island with a different cabinet and countertop than the rest of the kitchen.

In this fourth version of the Mt. Rainier kitchen the homeowner added a heightened breakfast bar. This is ideal for casual meals, a homework station or for keeping prep work out of sight when entertaining. The two additional electrical outlets give the island workspace more functionalty.
