Easy custom home building-- huh? Is it possible to build your dream home on a budget without it being a big hassle?

Not only is it possible, it’s something we specialize in. At Adair Homes, we believe that it should be fun and affordable to build a custom home. Not to mention fast.

Did you know that if you start building right now you can be in your home by July? It may be chilly now, but imagine sitting poolside, sipping lemonade, and enjoying life. That can be your life in your own backyard, but it won’t just happen by itself. Let your 2016 New Year’s resolution be finally living the life you’ve always imagined for yourself.

So, how do you get the ball rolling? Here are two tips to get motivated into buying your home now, not later:

Attend an Open House Event

Open houses are fantastic for understanding what features are most important to you. While floor plans are helpful visual tools, there’s nothing quite like seeing a home in person. You can touch the finishes, admire the craftsmanship, and take note of elements you hadn’t considered before.

In 2016, we’re hosting multiple open house events throughout Washington and Oregon. Tour one or all of the following floor plans:

The Mt. Rainier is 3,217 square feet. It includes a supersized upstairs bonus room and the master on the main floor. There’s even a shop in the garage to store tools and equipment.

The Livingston has an optional three car garage, boasting 2,830 square feet divided between two floors. This plan has both a great room and a living room, perfect for casual and formal entertainment.

The Deschutes is 1,702 square feet. Sleeping and living quarters are separate from each other for maximum privacy. The cleverly placed laundry room makes for easy access from the kitchen and other areas of the home.

Write Down a List of Things You’d Like to Do in Your New Home

Believe it or not, summer is right around the corner. What are some of the things you’d like to do in your new home? Write it down to jump start that motivation and so that you don’t forget it.

It could be that you’d like to build a large back porch to enjoy the picturesque Pacific Northwest scenery. Maybe you’d like to be environmentally conscious and create a sustainable home with a rainwater catchment system. Perhaps you just really want that pool-- and there’s nothing wrong with that.

We want to know what’s important to you and we’ll work hard to make your home ready for the summer.

So, grab your pencil and paper and, while you’re writing, be sure to take note of an open house near you. Visit this page to attend an open house event.
