Find me on:

What’s better than one luxurious master suite? How about two? It sounds decadent, but the truth is that dual master suites are gaining popularity because they can be super practical for families of every size and shape.

A dual master suite can be used for:

  •     An in-law suite
  •     A guest suite
  •     A teen room
  •     A home office
  •     A man cave
  •    So much more!

Here are 5 gorgeous plans that feature a dual master suite option (see all custom home floor plans).

The Ashland

5 bedroom + den | 3.5 bath | 3,136 square feet

Need a home with room to grow, and grow, and grow some more? Our grand Ashland floor plan features a master suite on the main level plus a dual master suite, three additional bedrooms, and a bonus room on the second floor! Each identically sized master suite has a walk-in closet and full bath with optional dual sinks. If you need extra storage for clothes, shoes, and accessories, the upstairs master suite has the option for an even larger walk-in closet with minimal impact to the floor space in the room. The Mt. Hood

4 bedroom + den | 3.5 bath | 2,734 square feet

It’s like everything you want all in one home. Our Mt. Hood plan features more than 2,700 square feet on a single level, but with a big surprise. The home includes a bonus room that you can choose to build as a second master suite.

With each master suite at opposite ends of the home, everybody has all the privacy—and space—that they need. Both master suites also offer the option for a door that accesses the back deck, so you can step outside any time for your morning coffee or a last look at the stars before bedtime.

The St. Helens

4 bedroom | 2.5 bath | 2,711 square feet

Our St. Helens plan is a ranch style home that’s big on options. The bonus room can be built as a second master suite and the 4th bedroom can be turned into a den. The single-level design is ideal for turning the second master bedroom into an in-law suite or fancy schmancy guest suite. Both master suites have large double windows facing the back to allow natural light to flow in and to optimize views without compromising privacy. One of them can even be enlarged to create an additional 85 square feet of space for that reading nook or yoga corner you have always wanted.

The Creston

5 bedroom | 2.5 bath | 2,512 square feet

Like the Ashland, the Creston plan includes a main floor master bedroom with a dual master suite and bonus room on the second level. Downstairs, the Creston features an ultra spacious kitchen and dining area that’s the perfect place for big family dinners. The optional enlarged master suite on the first level creates more floor space and expands the walk-in closet for even more storage. You can also splurge on the master bath upgrade to create a spa-like experience at home!

Need the flexibility of a dual master suite but not all the extra space and cost? Our Gallatin is barely over 2,000 square feet, but this home is so open you won’t even miss the additional square footage. The Gallatin features a first-floor master bedroom with the option to build a second master suite and dramatic loft upstairs. You can also upgrade the master bath to include both a shower and a tub for ultimate convenience and luxury.  View floor plan.
