As fall weather moves into much of the Pacific Northwest, many Adair Homes customers are taking the opportunity to start planning ahead for next year. Particularly in areas that receive a lot of winter precipitation, the end of the year is a good time to begin designing your custom home; then, once spring rolls around, you’ll be ready to start on construction.

If you’re considering going the custom route for your next home, you’ll want to stay up to date on the latest floor plans, technology offerings, and design options from Adair. We are always working to incorporate new trends and innovations into our product line so that customers like you can design a dream home that feels fresh, contemporary, and tech-savvy.

The Latest and Greatest

As you begin considering your custom home options, be sure to take a look at the latest offerings from Adair Homes:

Smart-home automation system. We’re thrilled to offer new smart-home technologies, including:

  • American Standard Gold 824 Thermostat: Enjoy greater comfort and lower energy bills by leveraging the convenience of a programmable, internet-enabled thermostat. Features include a color touchscreen, programmable schedules, and humidity control, as well as weather forecasts, alerts, and radar.
  • Schlage Z-Wave Touchpad Deadbolt: Control who can come and go, no matter where you are. This electronic lock system enables convenient keyless entry via PIN codes, as well as automatic locking with built-in alerts. You can program it to send you an alert when certain people enter—such as when the dog walker arrives—and you can check the lock’s status using the app or through the web interface.
  • HD Wide-Angle WiFi Indoor Camera: Secure your home with day/night recording at a crisp 1080P resolution. This wide-angle camera includes infrared lighting and a built-in motion sensor to ensure you don’t miss a thing.
  • Linear Garage Door Controller: You’ll never again wonder if you left the garage door open. With this WiFi-connected door controller, you can open, close, and monitor the door and receive alerts from any location. It is fully compatible with additional automations and integrates with the safety features of any garage door opener.

Our smart-home package also includes a free six-month subscription to Nexia, a smart-home automation system that integrates all of your smart devices onto one easy-to-use app. Homeowners love having access to all their connected devices in one place so that they can do things like view security cameras, control heating and AC, open and close garage doors, and get front-door alerts. Nexia’s “In Control” plan includes full access to all features and automations, as well as 4 GB of video storage. Learn more about Nexia here.

New floor plans. We’re also proud to offer two brand-new, fully customizable floor plans: the functional, spacious, one-story Klickitat and the flexible, open-concept Lincoln.

The Klickitat. The 2,198-square-foot floor plan smartly fits three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a roomy kitchen into a single-floor home yet still provides an open, airy feeling. It features a large great room and a kitchen that is ideal for hanging out with the family or for entertaining. The restful master suite features an incredibly spacious walk-in closet and can be upgraded to include an upgraded master bathroom and a quiet sitting area. Off the great room, the flexible den could be used as a dining room or converted to a fourth bedroom, providing even more space for large families and guests. Learn more about The Klickitat.

The Lincoln. At 2,541 square feet, this flexible floor plan offers tons of living space, three bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms on two floors. The showstopper here is the expansive flex space, including a huge great room that flows right into the spacious kitchen and breakfast nook, as well as the nearby dining room or den. Upstairs, you’ll enjoy a roomy bonus area that can be customized into extra bedrooms or used as an office, a game room, or a play area for the kids. The master suite is cleverly separated from the other bedrooms to provide plenty of privacy, and it can be upgraded to include an optional sitting area and a luxury bathroom. Learn more about The Lincoln.
