Here’s a step-by-step guide to the building process:
Step One: Try Our Online Tools
When you build your custom home with Adair Homes, you’re in complete control. You can browse custom home floor plans, search land for sale, view photo galleries and virtual tours of homes built for other Adair Homes customers, and even download a Design Guide right from the comfort of home. (See? We’re already saving you time!) Our online tools are a great way to get a general idea of the type of home you want to build.
Step Two: Visit a Sales Center
At an Adair Homes Sales Center we have so many happy, smiling team members ready to help that you might wonder if they’re up to something. But the truth is that it’s easy to be happy when it’s your job to help people build their dream home. Speak with a Home Ownership Counselor to learn more about our build process, choose the right floor plan, discover how affordable it is to customize your home, and estimate your Total Project Cost (land + site development + home).
Don’t have land yet? Don’t worry! Many of our customers do not yet own land when they visit us for the first time.
Step Three: Determine Your Budget
At Adair Homes we take the guesswork out of the cost of building a custom home. And the best part is that you don’t need to be a lottery winner or tycoon to afford to own a home you’ll love. Our dream team will work with you so you will know just what to expect to spend for building costs, customizations, and upgrades (hint: it might be less than you think!) Then professionals at Alliance Financial Services will explain your financing options in a way that’s clear and easy to understand.
Step Four: Schedule a Free Site Evaluation
You’ve finally found it – the perfect location to build your dream home. The trees, the view, the proximity to friends and family – it’s everything you’ve dreamed of. But hidden land costs such as clearing, grading, and other factors that could quickly blow your budget. Fortunately, during your Free Site Evaluation one of our expert Construction Superintendents will come out to assess your land and let you know about any additional costs you may incur to keep your custom home build on time and on budget. Your construction superintendent will also work with you to collect bids for site related work.
Step Five: Build!
There are few things more exciting than watching your dream home become a reality, but we know that your life doesn’t stop when you build a custom home.
