Are you looking for a small, but mighty, home? We have just the collection of single story custom home floor plans to choose from. Whether you’re shopping for your first home, hoping to downsize, or you simply want to embrace a more minimalist lifestyle, any one of these homes will be a perfect choice. Let’s take a look at the five amazing home floor plans that you’ll definitely want to build and move into ASAP.

The Arcadia East

At just over 1400 square feet, the Arcadia East is one of our smallest floor plans, but it’s packed full of designer elements, such as a deluxe eat-in kitchen, a tucked away mud room, and ample storage space throughout the home (be sure to check out the walk-in master closet). You’ll love the tall ceilings that make every room in the house feel more open and bright.

The Arcadia West

If you love the look and feel of the Arcadia East, but you’re hoping for just a little more room, check out the Arcadia West. This floor plan has almost 100 extra square feet of space, which means you’ll have room for a fourth bedroom.

The Arcadia West makes smart use of space-- all of the rooms feel spacious and accommodating. You can also turn one of the bedrooms into a den, guest room, or home office.

The Beverly

The Beverly is a perfect choice for young or old. If it’s just you (and perhaps a significant other), you may not have a need for extra bedrooms. Maybe two bedrooms are enough-- an extra large master suite and a second bedroom for guests, hobbies, work, or a mix of all three.

If that sounds like you, the Beverly is the perfect solution. You’ll have plenty of room for living and entertaining in this 1,340 square foot floor plan.

The Ainsworth

The Ainsworth makes great use of small space. If you have a narrow lot but want a beautiful and efficient home, look no further than the Ainsworth. In just 1,232 square feet, you’ll have three roomy bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and an extra large great room.

The attached two car garage may be perfect for your needs, but if it doesn’t fit your needs, we can build without it. That’s the beauty of a custom home.

The Douglas

Last, but certainly not least, is the Douglas floor plan. Clocking in at just under 1,200 square feet, the Douglas is the smallest home on this list, but it’s one of our favorites. The open floor plan makes the home feel much larger than it is.

Even though the living areas are open, the bedrooms are private. A thoughtfully designed hallway leads to the sleeping area, and adds a sense of privacy.

The Douglas floor plan is one of our most affordable three bedroom homes, and is highly customizable.  In fact, you even have the option to expand the great room by a whopping seven feet, if you choose.
